Silent Expanse: A Cross Canada Exploration – solo exhibition by Michael Everett Glover

Archive Exhibits

September 15 to October 29, 2017

Michael Everett Glover has traveled extensively throughout Canada over the past several years, from the coasts of Newfoundland and Labrador, to the western shore of Vancouver Island and north to the James Bay frontier and the Yukon and Northwest Territories. Throughout his travels, Glover has captured the rougher side of our country and in particular, the ways of life which are gradually disappearing from the Canadian landscape. His paintings chronicle the abandoned and isolated parts of our country, but are also vibrant and full of colour, a reflection of the stories of wilderness, adventure, and heartache that the artist has collected over the course of his journeys.
